The IMT Industrial Association in association with the district Health Department organised a Covid-19 vaccination camp at the office of the association, it was inaugurated Dr Virender Yadav chief medical officer (CMO), Gurugram.

Yadav said that the health facilities are targeting to vaccinate to about 50,000 people by running this camp continuously in the coming days in the industrial area.

On the first day, out of 120 people around100 people were vaccinated. Some people also took the second dose of vaccination who took the first dose a long time ago. The people of the industrial sector looked quite happy seeing this vaccination drive because their time is being saved, they do not need to go far for the Covid Jab.

On this occasion, some Japanese people who work here also got Covid vaccination done.

Pawan Yadav President IMT Industrial Association said that the Health Department has been heavily involved in the first testing and now the department is taking care of us and the workers of the industries in Covid Vaccination drive.

"There is no bigger thing than serving our people and we thank the health department and the Primary Health Care (PHC) workers for their support and we will run this camp for a long time. It will be an effort that all the workers in the IMT industry area should be covered with the Vaccination" Yadav said.

Apart from this, 78 people vaccinated at GurgaonOne sector 22 locality in Gurugram.

Col Sanjay Sehgal, General Manager, Operations of Alpha Facility team said “We at AlphaCorp GurgaonOne sector 22 were able to get 78 people vaccinated out of 90 registrations, which included some very senior citizens also (above 75 years of age). The process went very smoothly and the residents were very thankful to the teams for the same. We will also plan the next camp for the 2nd dose as per govt approved timelines,".
